Projects

Though we are a fairly new chapter, we have a few projects that we've worked on, or are working on at the moment.

What Would Dumbledore Do?:

Coordinated by the HP Alliance, the What Would Dumbledore Do campaign is about the entire Harry Potter fan community (including people who have just seen the Half-Blood Prince film) coming together to show our loyalty for the greatest Wizard whoever lived, with the hope of allowing the spirit of love and justice that Dumbledore stood for to live on in us and for that spirit to be translated toward the kind of transformation that humanity needs in these “dark and difficult times.”

Wizard Rock the Vote:

The HPA and the Wizard Rock community teamed up over the past summer to encourage people to get registered to vote and have a say it their government. It was a HUGE success. By having two volunteers at every wrock show, we registered more that 200 people! A big 'thank you' to everyone who participated!

STAND Fast:

DA-NC raised WAY above our expectations to support the women and children in Darfur, through STANDFast. Thank you guys so much for all your help and donations. We saved lives.
